The Football Experience

Football is about more than just the players and the game. The essential essence of football lies in the collectively of its supporters and the magic they can produce when they combine to create an entity.

Many great and special moments experienced by individual supporters are inseparable from the great games and goals that help to inspire shared celebrations of joy and elation.

The reaction, the humour and the togetherness of being part of that entity is an experience never to be forgotten.

Being in the stands supporting your favourite team will provide you with your own special pieces of nostalgia that will lodge themselves in your consciousness and will forge and shape your identity. No matter how many times you go, each visit is a different experience that will be etched in your memory forever.

If you are a football fan and have never experienced any of this, you have no idea what you are missing out on.

To have the opportunity to gain this experience visit 3 Lions Sport

You'll Never Walk Alone

April 15th 1989 - A day we will never forget!

Thousands of Liverpool fans went to watch their side play Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup Semi-Final at Sheffield's Hillsborough Stadium - and 96 of them never came home.

96 innocent Reds died that day due to poor organization.

The Hillsborough Memorial stands alongside the Shankly Gates at Anfield, the home of Liverpool FC, and is always decorated with flowers and other tributes to the 96 fans who lost their lives in the disaster.

At the centre of the memorial burns the eternal flame, signifying that they will never be forgotten and They'll Never Walk Alone.

If you are a Liverpool fan, or in fact any football fan, who cannot visit the ground to pay your respects, please visit the Liverpool FC site and spare a few moments for them this 15th April.

Perhaps one day we will see justice for them. The thoughts of us all are with the families and friends of the 96 who died and everyone affected by the sad tragedy.
